As a key recycling initiative, Newlife operates special projects to honour the key principles of environmental action and play a full part in protecting the environment, and supporting those who wish to do the same. We are also active members supporting the community in which our staff live and work and where we are based.

Opportunity Centre

The Newlife Opportunity Centre in Cannock offers all individuals (able bodied and disabled), organisations and groups the chance to work as volunteers on recycled products and raise funds for the charity offering their skills and time. No long term or regular commitment required. Some places for training are also available.

Graduate Internship / Placements

From time to time we offer graduates leaving university the chance to work for a period for the charity or company to gain experience in a real work environment to aid their CV and help their career. Where funds allow some placements are paid or expenses covered. Enquires and CV should be made in the first instance to the HR dept.

Community Involvement

We have a community involvement interest and have supported groups and organisations in partnership, to benefit the local community and those seeking school or college work experience placements.
